Gear/ Buying a Skateboard

The first thing you need to do before anything is actually purchase a skateboard, I remember the first time I got a skateboard I was astonished at the price so be prepared to spend minimum $150 for your first complete (Board,Trucks,Wheels,Bearings,Hardware,griptape). Some other gear you might want to look into is Skateboarding Shoes, Videos and Protective Equipment There are two places I recommend for buying your first skateboard, the first is your local skate shop, try and support your local skate shop and not go to West 49, the second place is buying one online from the links below.
